How to Install Xtream IPTV on All Devices

Understanding the three credentials

Nearly every failed setup traces back to one of these being mistyped, so a moment on what they are saves a lot of frustration.

The server URL tells the player which server to contact. It generally looks like a web address followed by a port number, and it must be entered exactly — including the http:// prefix and the port, with no trailing slash and no space on the end.

The username and password identify your specific line. Both are case-sensitive, and neither is the email address or password you used at checkout; they are generated for the subscription itself.

You will also receive an M3U link, which bundles all three into one long URL. Some players ask for the three fields separately (that is the Xtream Codes method) and some want the single link. Use whichever your app requests — though Xtream Codes is generally preferable because it exposes the films and series sections that a plain M3U playlist often omits.

Amazon Firestick and Fire TV

The Firestick is the most popular way to watch, and the only mainstream device needing a short detour first, because the players are not in Amazon's own store.

1. From the home screen open Find → Search, type Downloader, and install the orange Downloader app.
2. Open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and switch on Install unknown apps, then enable it for Downloader.
3. Launch Downloader and enter the player download address included in your welcome email.
4. Install the player, open it, and choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
5. Enter the three credentials exactly as written. The first load takes a minute or two while channels and the guide populate.

If Developer Options is missing from the menu, go to Settings → My Fire TV → About and click on Fire TV Stick seven times; the option appears afterwards.

Android TV, boxes, phones and tablets

Android is the simplest platform because the players are in the Play Store.

1. Install IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate or XCIPTV from Google Play.
2. Open the app and select Add playlist → Xtream Codes API.
3. Give the profile any name, then enter your username, password and server URL.
4. Save. Live TV, films and series appear in the side menu within about a minute.

On a television specifically, TiviMate is worth its small premium unlock — it is built around a remote control rather than a touchscreen, and its guide and channel management are noticeably better than the alternatives.

Samsung and LG smart TVs

Tizen and webOS do not permit sideloading, so these sets use an app we activate from our side. It looks unusual the first time and takes only a few minutes.

1. Open the television's own store — Smart Hub on Samsung, LG Content Store on LG — and install IBO Player, Smarters Player Lite or Duplex IPTV.
2. Launch it. The app displays a MAC address, sometimes with a device key.
3. Send that MAC address to us on WhatsApp or live chat. We attach your playlist remotely, normally within a few minutes.
4. Close the app completely and reopen it. The lineup loads by itself.

Some of these apps carry a small one-time activation fee charged by the app developer rather than by us. That is standard on Samsung and LG and a consequence of their closed platforms.

iPhone, iPad and Apple TV

1. Install Smarters Player Lite or iPlay TV from the App Store.
2. Choose the Xtream Codes API option and enter your three details.
3. The same apps exist on tvOS, so one set of credentials covers iPhone, iPad and Apple TV together.

Windows and macOS

1. For a quick check, install VLC, open Media → Open Network Stream and paste the M3U link. This plays channels but gives you no guide.
2. For a proper television interface with the EPG, use IPTV Smarters Pro for Windows or MyIPTV Player and sign in with Xtream Codes instead.

MAG, Enigma2 and Formuler boxes

These use a portal address rather than an app login. Send us the model and its MAC address after checkout and we will reply with the exact portal URL to enter under Settings → Servers → Portals, along with the reboot that completes it. Formuler boxes running MYTVOnline can alternatively use the standard Xtream Codes login.

Getting the best picture

• Use a cable where you can. Ethernet to the main television eliminates the largest single cause of buffering. Powerline adapters are a reasonable compromise.
• Prefer 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Shorter range than 2.4 GHz but far better throughput and interference resistance, which is what live streams need.
• Raise the buffer. Most players expose this. A second or two more delay before playback starts greatly reduces mid-stream stutter on a busy line.
• Match quality to your connection. A stable Full HD stream beats a 4K stream that rebuffers every thirty seconds.
• Restart occasionally. Firesticks in particular have limited memory and benefit from a weekly reboot.

Troubleshooting

The picture buffers

Restart the router first; it resolves more cases than any other single step. Then switch to Ethernet or 5 GHz, and confirm with a speed test that the line genuinely delivers 15 Mbps, or 25 Mbps if you are asking for 4K. If only one channel stutters while the rest are fine, the problem is upstream rather than on your connection and we can usually move you to a better source.

The login is refused

Copy and paste rather than typing. A trailing space in the server URL, a capital where a lowercase belongs, or confusion between the digit 1 and a lowercase L accounts for very nearly every rejected login we investigate.

The list is empty or short

Refresh the playlist inside the app, or close and reopen it fully. If it is still incomplete, message us — reloading a line from our end takes seconds.

The guide is blank

The EPG usually fills in a few minutes after first login rather than instantly. If it is still empty an hour later, check the app's EPG setting — a few players need the guide source enabled once — and tell us which app you are using.
