Xtream IPTV Login, Playlist and Account Help
Where to sign in, what your credentials mean, what to do when a login is refused, and how to recover details you have lost.
Why there is no account portal
This surprises people arriving from a search for "Xtream IPTV login", so it is the first thing to clear up. The service is not watched through a website — there is no page here where you enter a username and start streaming.
Instead, your subscription exists as a set of credentials that you enter once into a player application on your television, phone or computer. After that the app remembers them and you simply open it. There is nothing to log into again unless you set up a new device.
What you were sent
The welcome email that follows your order contains four things:
- Server URL — the address your player connects to, including a port number.
- Username — case-sensitive, generated for your line.
- Password — also case-sensitive, and not the password you used at checkout.
- An M3U link — the same credentials bundled into one URL, for players that only accept that format.
The first three are what an app means when it asks for "Xtream Codes API" details. We explain that format in depth on the Xtream Codes page.
When a login is refused
Almost always a typing problem rather than an account problem. In the order we see them:
- A trailing space pasted along with the server URL — invisible and fatal.
- The port number missing from the end of the server address.
- Case mismatch in the username or password.
- The digit 1 mistaken for a lowercase L, or 0 for O. Copy and paste rather than retyping.
- A trailing slash on the URL, which some players will not accept.
If the details are definitely correct and the login is still rejected, tell us which app you are using and send a screenshot of the error. That usually identifies the cause immediately.
"Too many connections"
This message means your plan's simultaneous-stream limit is already in use. Note the distinction that catches people out: your plan limits how many screens can play at once, not how many devices you may install the app on. You can set it up on the living-room television, a bedroom set, two phones and a tablet; you are only capped on concurrent playback.
The usual culprit is a stream left running somewhere — a phone in a pocket, a television on standby that never properly closed the app. Close it and try again. If it happens regularly, your household has outgrown the plan and raising the connection count is far cheaper than a second subscription; message us and we will adjust it.
Recovering lost details
Message us on WhatsApp or live chat from the email address you ordered with, and we will resend your credentials. There is no fee and it takes a couple of minutes. For obvious reasons we can only send them to the address on the order.
If you believe someone else has your login — you are seeing connection errors you cannot explain, for instance — ask for a reset rather than just a resend. New credentials are issued immediately, the old ones stop working, and your remaining term is unaffected.
Moving to a new device
Nothing needs to be released or deactivated first. Install a player on the new device, enter the same three credentials, and it works. If you are retiring the old device, remove the profile from its app so a forgotten background stream does not consume one of your connections.
